Written by Dr. Katie Turk and the students of her Spring 2020 class HIST 179H: Women in the History of UNC-Chapel Hill, the Climbing the Hill podcast is organized thematically to mirror the exhibition themes.
Students selected Southern Oral History Program (SOHP) interview clips for each theme to provide first-hand accounts of women's experiences at UNC as they were shaped by race, class, age, and sexuality.
