Women socializing, photographs 1930s-1960s
These photographs taken in various years of the 20th century depict the perspective of female student life on campus at UNC-Chapel Hill, a predominantly male environment when these photos were captured. These photographs show that even though women were outnumbered within the student body, they remained present and active in campus life, activities, and organizations. Today, women make up the majority of the student body at UNC-Chapel Hill.
