"How It Felt: The Impeachment Diary of James Reston, Jr., 27 June-13 August 1974"
James Reston was teaching creative writing at UNC-Chapel Hill when he decided to take the summer off to travel to Washington, D.C., to witness the impeachment proceedings. This diary is a circa 2018 transcription of Reston’s original diary which details his recollections as a witness of the Senate Watergate Committee. The diary served as the basis for Reston’s 2019 book The Impeachment Diary: Eyewitness to the Removal of a President.
