Be it known that for the consideration of a negroe man called Joe to me delivered by Elijah Crockett which I hereby acknowledge; I have bargained and sold and hereby bargain and sell to the said Elijah Crockett a negroe woman slave called Dinah about thirteen or fourteen years old; which negroe girl slave Dinah I do hereby bind myself, my heirs Executors and administrators to warrant and defend to the said Elijah Crockett and his heirs and assigns for ever, against the lawful claim of all persons whomsoever.
