How to explore the map
Open the Queerolina Map
There are two ways to engage with the map:
1. Use the embedded version found on the page
2. Click the link at the top of the "Explore the map" page to open in a new window
How to use the map:
Scroll down to access the map and the "stops" on the map. At any time you can click on the horizonal buttons at the top right corner of the screen to access options for:
1. Autoplay
2. Print preview
3. Embed
4. Report issues
At any time you can click on the icon with the upwards facing arrow at the top right corner of the screen to share the map.
There are two ways to listen and read the narrator's excerpts on the map:
1. Scroll through the "stops" on the map and click on the one you want
2. Click on the place markers on the map itself
All stops have the following information (listed from "top" to "bottom"):
1. Image
2. Title of the excerpt
3. Audio of the excerpt
4. Transcript of the excerpt
5. Buttons to listen to the entire story or oral history
Click the "X" at the bottom of the screen to return to exploring the "stops" on the map and make another selection.
