Alumni Building is the home of the Department of Anthropology and the Research Labs of Archaeology (RLA). This building is a learning environment for students and contains some artifacts of southeast American Indian populations. The faculty and students of the Research Labs conduct research and excavations on and around the campus related to Native populations that were here before the University was built, as well as tribes that are still in the area.
