Dear Pauli:
Somehow I can’t stay on a formal basis with you. I hope you don’t mind and will reciprocate.
We will welcome you later this month. The papers have been processed and will be ready for you. Also, the Fitzgerald Papers film has been copied – both positive and duplicate negative. For safety, we will hold it to return to you in person unless you prefer that we mail it. Thank you for permitting us to make these copies, but please don’t forget that we want the originals sometime too—and the notebook about UNC! I’m greedy, but I know you understand that I am supposed to be and it is not for myself personally.
