Hamilton Hall is home to the one of the nation’s finest collections of archaeological materials from the South. It is located in a high security room in the basement of the building. ‘NAGPRA’ (Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act) is indicated on many of the artifacts labels. NAGPRA mandates that tribes be contacted regarding artifacts that belong to them.
